Virtual Animation Summer Camp
Are you getting ready to make your animation portfolio for College or University in 2025-2026? Enrolling in our Virtual Animation Summer Camp is a great way to ensure that you maximize your summer time to create some incredible portfolio pieces that will increase your portfolio score and save you a lot of time later. Many students can create the required artworks for their portfolio throughout the school year, but in every animation portfolio there is always an area for students to submit personal works, and this area is often lacking.
The goal of our 3-week virtual summer camp is to create some great artwork relevant for animation that satisfies the “Personal Work” category of the various portfolios you’ll be submitting next winter. These are works that you’ll be able to re-use for each application portfolio that you make, and that will help your portfolio to stand out amidst a highly competitive application process.
You will create character designs with dynamic posing, expressive emotions, and that feel like they belong to a story. You’ll create believable background design complete with props and set-dressing. You’ll even try your hand at 2d animation to begin creating your animation reel.
This camp will be led by a variety of instructors that have either graduated from, or are currently attending, Sheridan College’s prestigious Animation program.
All in all, you’ll leave when a starter portfolio in-hand before the school year even begins!
See you in July!
